About Château de Gaure : Pierre Fabre represents the 5th generation of a family of winegrowers and returned to his roots by purchasing a property in 2004, Château de Gaure. With the support of renowned penologist Marc Bertrand, they both introduced the Gaure range of wines to the Languedoc, which quickly received awards fro “La Revue des vins de France”

Pierre Fabre has made the conscientious switch to chemical-free production to craft the finest natural grapes and the range is undergoing organic conversion. Exhibiting a perfect harmony between nature and terroir, Pierre Fabre offers velvety, supple wines to delight the connoisseur who knows to appreciate sophisticated balance.

Winemaking : The harvests are manual, the grapes are transported in 15kg boxes to the cellar before sorting and pressing. The alcoholic fermentation starts with indigenous yeast in 400 str barrels and in 12 to 30n hl tuns, followed by malolactic fermentation. The period of maturation on the lees is punctuated by regular stirring of the lees and topping up.
